SS Tip #5 - Styling Christmas Cookies

While this is not a new concept, I thought it might be one often forgotten. A perfectly nice and always appreciated gift idea is homemade cookies or brownies. Rather than putting them in a Christmas cookie tin with wax paper, why not try storing them in a small glass jar? Tie some ribbons around the top and you're done. This display at Target caught my eye because I always fall for glass jars and then of course the cookies sealed the deal. I love the square ones with the red or green tops. The trees are cute but they would just have to be stored away after the holiday. Not pictured are the cookie jars on a slant (for easy treat access). Feeling crazy? Glitter the top. Don't bake? Measure out all of the ingredients of Grandma's recipe, bag them up, drop in jar. Type up the recipe on some cardstock, holepunch the top and use as gift tag. $4.99 jar + homemade treats = budget friendly holiday gifting!
