Not Your Average Bachelorette Party Series #1

I love post requests, especially when they have to do with party ideas. Reader "A" left a comment requesting ideas for a non-traditional bachelorette party. She said she was looking for a party geared more around drinking wine at someone's house rather than bar-hopping. I guessed there would be plenty of good suggestions out there and got lucky with my first find.

While not all of us are campers or have the mountains in our backyard, I do like where this is going.

From Utterly Engaged, "the vibe is free-spirited and communal. Relaxed yet untamed." I see this translating into a night of no frills girl time. Looks to me like no little black dresses.

The decorations are simple: wildflowers, mason jars, lunch bag pinwheels and construction paper garland. All of these things could easily be reconfigured for your apartment or backyard. Hang some white Christmas lights for ambiance.

For the crafty and adventurous - felt "merit badges" for the games. By the looks of it they are for a beer chugging contest, tying the knot and ghost stories?

This was a collaboration photo shoot by a group of creative bloggers. Any real bride would be lucky to have a bachlorette party as thought out as this. If you are looking to have your party at home, try thinking out of the box for decorations and fun game ideas. A feather headdress for your bride is exactly where this party is going - no veil in sight. See the entire beautiful post here.
