tin can cake idea on
Pinterest and it's got me thinking about mini cakes more often than I'd like. I shared the idea with my mom who let me know that tin can cake baking is not a new concept. And then I shared with her that my birthday is quickly approaching and I'd like an assortment of mini cakes - how fun! We didn't share the same level of excitement. These also remind of me Paul Ferney's
Let Them Eat Cake prints. Paintings of mini cakes are nearly as sweet as the real thing.

totally adorable! and this solves the problem of eating leftover cake for days and days. not that that is necessarily a problem.
I recognize that photo of my own strawberry-topped tin can cake!
