Not Your Average Bachelorette Party Series #2

Back to the Bachelorette Party ideas. If you recall, reader "A" is looking for some tips on throwing a non-traditional party that doesn't include the usual bar hopping debauchery. This night is geared around wine tasting and staying close to home. There are plenty of ways to make the event special - I would recommend hitting all the details to jazz up a laid back hen party for your bride.

While this looks like your average bachelorette party table, I like the idea of using feathers as an accent.
Found at Head of the Table. (fyi Michael's always has a good selection of feathers)

An unassuming way of incorporating the girlyness into the night: homemade buttons. While I love Marilyn and SJP, pics of the bachelorette would be super cute, too.
From popandshorty's Flickr stream.

Branding your party, starting with the invitation, might help you when it comes time to decorate. Print Your Party has the right idea with custom invites, wine and water labels, tags, etc.

Speaking of decorating, paper poms would be perfect.
Find them at Pom Love.  OR they're not incredibly difficult to make yourself.

While this picture came from a Twilight themed Bachelorette Party (not highly recommended), I do love this framed "thirsty?" sign by the bar. How about adding "snacks" "chocolate" and "cheese"?

Another average bachelorette party, but I love the disco balls and zebra tray. All of the items pictured can be bought at Social Couture.

And what kind of gift do you get a bride who would rather have a night in versus hummer limos and strippers? What about the Wine of the Month Club? It's the gift that keeps on giving (well after you leave the party and head out to the bars).
