I was at a party this weekend and spotted a wall hanging very similar to the quilt on this bed. It made me a little crazy (like madly in love with it crazy) and decided I had to forget about it. Then today I saw this post on The Estate of Things via Decor Demon and my craziness has returned. The owner of the wall hanging that I saw bought the piece at a recycled art sale and doesn't know much about it. Not sure if they're the same print, but they're so close it's got me google imaging things like "crazy vibrant wool bird/animal embroidered wall hanging or quilt." I wonder if it's considered Suzani? Can anyone out there tell me anything about it?

yes, it's suzani. the one on the bed looks like mexican suzani. a great blog that i read called "table tonic" (tabletonic.blogspot.com) from australia often has suzani prints on it and she also has an online store where she sells these.... watch out, they're kind of spendy!
